Service Provider for Nanotechnology and Semiconductor R&D
The National NanoFab Center (NNFC) is the leading public organization for providing semiconductor technology service in South Korea. Our mission is to provide technology platform services to industry, academia and R&D institutes in the area of silicon based semiconductor, MEMS and Nano-Bio while nurturing new technologies in house.
Established in 2004 as an affiliated organization of Korea Advanced Science and Technology (KAIST), NNFC has focused on supporting domestic industry, academic institutions and other R&D institutes with a world-class infrastructure in the cleanroom environment. In 2014, NNFC became an affiliated organization of Ministry of Science and ICT.

As society advances, there are new emerging technologies to overcome challenges such as reducing carbon emission or solving highly complex matters. To contribute to the society for future, NNFC is currently working with academic institutions, R&D institute and industry to develop two key technology platforms as follows.
NNFC Semiconductor Academy provides internal education courses for college students or graduates with in-house training programs, e.g. equipment training. The Academy is also preparing continuing education programs for semiconductor professionals in industry. The programs will be tailored to the needs of industry.
