  • Overview

    The In Vitro Diagnostic technology, based on Bio-MEMS precision biosensor platform, is an analytical technology applied for disease diagnosis, personalized treatment, disease prediction, and health management using biomarkers and genetic information that reflect changes in the body. Particularly, the global in vitro diagnostic market is expanding its field to personalized, high-precision, rapid, and on-site analysis technologies from the conventional hospital-centered analysis technologies. To achieve this, we apply semiconductor MEMS-based nano-technology, including preprocessing technology, nano-sensing technology, ultra-high sensitivity signal amplification technology, and high-integration technologies, to overcome the limitations of existing technologies. This is a NT-BT convergence platform technology.

  • Technical Features

    The biosensor, a nano-technology integrated high-density biosensor, needs to sensitively analyze a small sample or a target material of low concentration. Using a 3D structure applied with nano-technology, it has a high-density, highly integrated sensor structure compared to 2D sensors. Based on this, it is possible to induce higher target capture efficiency and signal amplification, thereby improving sensor performance.

  • Technical Advantages

    The biosensor grafted with nano-technology, a high-precision analysis platform that overcomes limitations, can perform high-sensitivity analysis based on higher signal induction technology compared to existing biosensor technology. In other words, not only qualitative analysis that determines the presence or absence of a small amount of target material in the body, but also quantitative analysis that determines the degree is possible. In addition, it overcomes the limitations of existing technologies that were impossible to detect due to low sensitivity, and false positives, and enables precise target analysis using MEMS technology.
